Privacy Policy

We built MyPeptica to help you, not to harvest your data. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

The short version

We collect only what's needed to run the service. We never sell your data. Your email is used for authentication only.

1. What we collect

When you use MyPeptica we may collect:

Email address — provided when you create a free account. Used for authentication via magic link only.
Protocol data — peptide amounts, water volumes and doses you choose to save. Stored against your account.
Calculation history — a rolling log of your last 40 calculations (if signed in), used to power your dashboard.
Usage data — anonymous analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. No personal identifiers.

We do not collect payment information, health records, or any data about the compounds you use beyond what you voluntarily enter into the calculator.

2. How we use it

To authenticate you via passwordless magic link.
To store and sync your saved protocols and favorites across devices.
To send account-related emails (magic links, product updates you opt into).
To improve MyPeptica through aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the platform:

Firebase / Google — authentication and database hosting.
Resend — transactional email delivery (magic links and campaign emails you receive).

Each provider is bound by their own data processing agreements and privacy policies.

4. Storage & security

Your data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard access controls and do not retain data longer than necessary. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

5. Cookies

MyPeptica uses only functional cookies necessary for authentication (Firebase session tokens stored in your browser). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

Access to the personal data we hold about you.
Correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion of your account and associated data.
Objection to or restriction of certain processing.
Data portability (export of your protocols as JSON or PDF).
